Time: 8 weeks

 

After visiting Berlin with school we had to make an game or interactive installation.

What we liked about Berlin would be the subject. We chose the diversity of the city together with the feeling we got when drinking a cup of coffee and watching people pass the window.

We decided we would make an asymmetrical multiplayer.

 

Player 1 and player 2 would not know there was another player.

Player 1 would get to pain in VR, whenever this player painted, flowers would show up in the same color.

Player 2 would sit behind a large screen with a set of buttons and coffee. They would see a little robot on the screen, the robot was drawing. The buttons in front of player 2 actually had effect on the experience of player 1.

Player 2 could change; saturation of the colors, the position of the sun and the sounds player 1 would experience while in VR.

We put a lot of effort in designing the whole experience, below you will see the rooms the installation would take place in. In the document there is more information about our choices and process. I am sorry it is only available in Dutch.
